Ealing Half Marathon are delighted to have Fuller, Smith and Turner PLC, the London premium pub company,  return as partners of the event which takes place on 29th September 2019.

‘Having partners that share our values and community focus is of paramount importance to us’ said Sandra Courtney, Race Director. ‘Fuller’s is a great example of an organisation that recognises the enormous contribution the event has brought to West London and it’s great to have them on board’.

Jonathon Swaine, Managing Director of Fuller’s Inns added ‘We are delighted to return as an event partner for the Ealing Half Marathon. Having been involved for many years it’s amazing to see how far the event has grown. Its ethos as a community event, which inspires people, resonates with our values, making it a great event for us to get involved with. We would look forward to helping the event to grow and are keen to see it remaining one of the first events people look for in the calendar – long live the #EalingFeeling!’.

Fuller’s will assist in the marketing and promotion of the event and will have a number of staff and customers taking part on the day.

We are also delighted to announce that in the build up to the event there will be a special edition ‘Ealing Half’ guest beer on sale in selected pubs in London. ‘It’s fair to say that one or two of our runners have been known to frequent Fuller’s pubs and I know the attraction of a Pint of Ealing Half should prove extremely popular!’ added Sandra.

Ealing Half Marathon works towards finding partners who share the same ethos and commitment to the community as we do and Fuller’s are a perfect match and collaboration.

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY  Pride and passion in everything we do.

Champions are often associated with a win-at-all-costs attitude – but despite all our accolades, the Fuller’s approach is somewhat different. Ever since we brewed our first beer in 1845, we’ve been mindful of our role in society and we continue to make sure our business impacts positively on the world around us. It’s an ethos that finds its basis in respect. Respect for history and heritage, for our customers and staff. Respect for our local community and for the environment as a whole.

It comes together to form our Social Responsibility policy – a promise of Pride and passion in everything we do.

COMMUNITY At the heart of local life

We’ve always been proud of the role our pubs play at a local level, with more than 380 Fuller’s pubs providing the beating heart of town and village life right across southern England. We know our pubs have a key role to play in the communities they serve, far beyond providing a social resource, and we actively encourage our tenants and managers to build tight links with their local neighbourhoods.
